CAPT. TONY RUSSELL

Capt. Tony Russell is a well-respected veteran on the offshore waters of East Central Florida with over 20 years of local offshore experience. He has an impressive list of credentials and highlights to his sportfishing career. As the owner of the "HatTrick and Trickshot" he continues to add to his list of accomplishments with every client he serves. Fishing aboard the Hat Trick is not only educational but also fun. Perhaps you've read about him or his client's catches in national magazines. You may follow his East Florida fishing report in numerous publications and numerous fishing related web sites! He is also a Free Lance Outdoor Fishing Writer and Photographer. The photography of catches made aboard the "Hat Trick" is routinely selected as feature photos in local news publications. Capt. Tony is the essence of a successful and professional fishing captain.

Capt. Tony's vast recognition began with his professional fishing team that traveled the S.E. Coast of the United States competing in the Saltwater Angler's Tournament fishing trail in the early 90's. During the three years he participated, his team qualified to compete for the national title all three years! His team was recognized to have more wins than any other tournament team in East Central Florida. During the final year, his team's success led to factory sponsorship by SeaRay Boats. With over 175 events under his belt, The Hat Trick continues to win tournaments routinely and has posted more total category wins than any other in Central Florida. During 2003, Capt. Tony created the "TRICK CHARTER FLEET", to offer clients fishing trips in other angling specialties. "Additionally, during 2003, he created Interactive Marine Consulting which provides business consulting (and engineering services) to charterboat and marine related businesses across the country. He has authored and published an Internet based business guide to aide in the success of new charterboat businesses and it will be available for purchase in August 2003. His office is located in Port Canaveral Florida."

Capt. Tony is also ranked as a lifetime GrandMaster in the Florida Sportfishing Association F.S.F.A., one of Florida's oldest and most respected angling clubs. This elite rating is held by less than 35 people in the club's three decade history and this group includes many of the most nationally recognized fishing captains and angler's in Florida. He was also designated the 1991 "Angler of the Year" and is fluent in all tackle classes from Fly rod to Big Game. Capt. Tony is a conservation minded Captain and supports catch and release.

Locally, Capt. Tony is the founding Vice-President of the Canaveral Charter Captains Association C.C.C.A. and is a member in good standing with the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce. He is college educated and is one of the most sought speakers for fishing seminars on the Space Coast. He is warm and personable and above all very entertaining and enthusiastic!
